Inward Elbow Strike in American Kenpo Karate

Inward Elbow Strike

This strike is considered one of the most dangerous weapons in Martial Arts because of the damage it can do. Kenpo Karate uses all kinds of elbow strikes in many self-defense techniques, forms, and sets.

The most common way to do the inward elbow strike would be by having your hands up, then your right elbow would travel to your opposite shoulder in a horizontal way until it reaches its target. To increase the power of the elbow strike use your hip while rotating in the direction of the target.
